The Legend of the Seven Lights
Long before humanity built great cities, people looked to the heavens.
They saw countless stars fixed in the night sky, yet seven lights moved differently. These wandering lights traveled across the celestial sphere and appeared to possess a rhythm and purpose of their own.
The ancient tribes called them the Seven Lights.
The Star Ancestors taught that the Seven Lights were not gods, but symbols left within the cosmos itself. Each Light represented a principle necessary for a civilization to remain free, wise, and enduring.
The Sun represented Service, for it gave life without asking reward.
The Moon represented Respect, for it reflected light equally upon all people.
Mercury represented Truth Seeking, for it moved swiftly between worlds carrying knowledge.
Venus represented Dignity, for beauty and worth exist within every person.
Mars represented Courage, not for conquest, but for standing against injustice.
Jupiter represented Stewardship, for great power requires great responsibility.
Saturn represented Sovereignty of Mind, for wisdom comes from discipline and independent thought.
The Star Ancestors gathered these teachings into what became known as the Seven Guardian Principles.
For generations the teachings spread across the world. But during the Age of Shadows, rulers and empires sought power over people rather than service to them. The teachings were fragmented. The connection between the Seven Lights and the Seven Principles was forgotten. Only fragments survived in myths, symbols, and traditions scattered across many cultures.
The Guardians preserved what remained.
They passed the knowledge quietly from generation to generation, waiting for the Age of Remembering. Their oldest prophecy spoke of a future age when humanity would once again look to the heavens and rediscover that freedom, dignity, truth, courage, stewardship, respect, and service were not merely ideals.
They were the Seven Lights by which humanity was meant to navigate its future.
And so the Hidden Seven would be revealed once more.
